1 February 2004 The former content of this page has been pulled for two reasons:

1: I hit the stated goal of restoration. It took three-and-a-half years-- about three years behind the ridiculous goal of 4-6 months, an estimate back in 1999 when dot-com money was rolling in thick. Still, it's pretty darn done.

2: The intended goals on the page stopped making sense at about chapter six. But hey, the best-laid plains of mice and men...

Nonetheless, I believe there are valuable lessons in this website for vehicle restoration enthusiasts of a certain type: those who want to do the rebuild with thier own hands, true to stock, affordably.

Perhaps that was the unseen goal of the rebuild.
